JADE® 2.0 and ONYX SCA® each use a 5-stage system: pre-filter, activated carbon, HEPA-Rx capturing 99.97% of particles at 0.3 microns, UV-C germicidal chamber, and a revitalizing ion chamber. QUARTZAIR® uses a 4-stage system with HEPA-Rx plus a Revitalizing Negative Ion Chamber. COBALT® uses a 2-stage MERV-16 HEPA-RX dual-filter design for ceiling-mounted operation. ATOMIKAIR® uses five MERV-13 reusable filters for industrial environments.

Enclosed UV-C lamps inside the unit neutralize viruses and bacteria as air passes through the chamber. Because the UV-C is fully internal, there is zero exposure to people or pets in the room. Annual bulb replacement keeps germicidal output above spec — UV-C output degrades after ~9,000 hours even when the bulb still glows.

"HEPA-Rx" is our internal name for the HEPA-Rx media we use across the lineup — it captures 99.97% of airborne particles at 0.3 microns. The "Rx" indicates clinical-grade media tested to dental and medical operatory standards, not a separate filtration class.

QUARTZAIR® is rated to 500 sq ft, JADE® 2.0 to 1,500 sq ft, ONYX SCA® to 1,000 sq ft, and COBALT® to 2,500 sq ft. Use the coverage calculator to size against your air-changes-per-hour target — 5+ ACH for general offices, 6+ for clinical environments, 12+ for surgical suites.

JADE® 2.0 runs at 37.3 dB on low and up to 58 dB at full speed. QUARTZAIR® is <40 dB on low and 55 dB on turbo. ONYX SCA® runs <40 dB low / 47 dB medium / 55 dB high. COBALT® 2'×2' is 22.5-47.5 dB; COBALT® 2'×4' is 30.6-51.9 dB. All ranges measured per the official product brochures.

Most orders placed before 2 PM ET ship same-day from our US warehouse and arrive within 2-5 business days via UPS or FedEx. COBALT® and ATOMIKAIR® ship via Old Dominion freight; allow 5-10 business days for delivery.

HEPA + carbon filters typically run 6-12 months depending on use and air quality. The pre-filter on units that have one (ONYX SCA®, COBALT®, Cascade) is washable and should be rinsed every 1-3 months. UV-C bulbs are rated for ~9,000 hours (about 2-3 years of typical use). Each unit's filter indicator alerts you when replacement is due.

All replacement filters and UV-C bulbs are available at filters and UV-C bulbs with live pricing in your country's currency.

Generic filters may fit physically but rarely meet our HEPA capture spec or maintain certified airflow at the rated CFM. Using non-genuine filters voids warranty coverage. Stick with factory-spec replacements to keep performance at engineered levels.

Unopened units can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund (less return shipping). Open units are evaluated case-by-case — if the unit was the wrong sizing recommendation from our team, we'll arrange an exchange to a properly-sized model at no charge.
