How often should I replace this filter?
HEPA filters are replaced every 12 months, and activated carbon and combination filters every 6 to 12 months depending on the model and air quality. No HEPA or carbon filter can be washed or reused. Your unit's indicator light will alert you when it's time for a replacement.
Is this an OEM (genuine) replacement?
Yes. All filters sold here are factory-spec replacements built to the same standards as the originals shipped with your unit. Generic filters may not meet our HEPA certification or warranty requirements.
Will using a third-party filter void my warranty?
Yes. Your limited warranty requires that filters are changed on schedule using official Surgically Clean Air replacements only. Aftermarket, third-party, or non-OEM filters will void warranty coverage on the unit.
How do I install a replacement filter?
Each filter ships with installation instructions. The process typically takes under 5 minutes: power off the unit, open the filter compartment, swap the old filter for the new one, and reset the filter indicator. No tools required.
