The Preparation Room
The prep room is the highest-exposure space in the building and the one your staff occupy for full shifts, often alone, often with the door closed.
Continuous HEPA-Rx and carbon filtration runs alongside the room's dedicated exhaust rather than in place of it. Wall-mounted units keep the equipment off working surfaces and out of a space where every square foot is already allocated.
The Crematory Operating Area
Fine particulate and handling dust circulate through the operating area, and the operator is in that room for the duration of every cycle.
HEPA-Rx captures the respirable fraction in the room where the work happens. This is occupational air quality for the person running the equipment, and it is separate from anything the retort does at the stack.
Chapels, Viewing, and Arrangement Rooms
Front of house is an odor problem and a trust problem. A family notices the air in an arrangement office before they notice anything else, and there is no recovering from that impression.
Activated carbon adsorbs the gas-phase compounds behind odor rather than masking them. Ceiling-mounted COBALT disappears into the grid entirely, which matters in rooms where visible equipment is itself the wrong note.

No. Stack emissions are handled by the retort's afterburner and emissions equipment, and preparation rooms require dedicated exhaust ventilation. Room air purification treats the air inside the building alongside those systems and is not a substitute for either.
Odor is gas-phase, so it needs activated carbon adsorption alongside particle filtration. A 5-stage system removes the compounds themselves rather than covering them, which is why fragrance and ozone generators are the wrong tool in an occupied building.
