Surgically Clean Air Purifiers and Their Indoor Air Cleaning Properties Help Reduce Employee Suffering and Sick Day Absenteeism
Founded in 1922 to organize real estate activities across Ontario, Canada, the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) Mission is to help Ontario REALTORS, brokerages, and associations succeed. Representing the 64,240 real estate brokers and salespeople members of Ontario’s 40 real estate boards, the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) serves its members through a wide variety of publications, educational programs, and special services. Based in Toronto, Canada, OREA’s Head Office is a dedicated multi-storey office building in a business park in midtown.
OREA wanted to provide a healthier environment for their large headquarters staff and positively impact reducing sick day absenteeism, allergy suffering, and more. Unfortunately, in some secure areas in OREA’s office building, employees could not open windows or get a meaningful supply of fresh air. As a result, some of these employees suffered from headaches and bloody noses from the poor indoor air.
In 2017, the assistant director of OREA purchased 12 Surgically Clean Air commercial air purifiers across their multi-floor office building within the general office space, lunchroom, meeting rooms, printer room, shipping & receiving and in the reception area.
Within the first few days, the OREA employees who suffered from poor indoor air no longer did. The employees were thrilled with the instantly dramatic improvement.
