Benefits of Air Purifier’s

Indoor air quality should always be on our mind, in any setting we maybe we should be thinking, “Am I breathing clean air”, if the answer to that is no, then the next thought should be “What can I do to change that”. The answer to that is very simple, air purification. Air purifiers start to benefit you immediately, as soon as they are turned on the purifier starts to clean the air by removing allergens, dust, and other bacteria, while any smells that could be lingering or stuck in furniture are taken out of the air by the purifier. Inside the purifier are three components that work together. A HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter, an activated carbon filter, and a UV-C+ lamp. The HEPA filter captures microns as small as 0.3 get filtered out at greater than 99.9% rate. The activated carbon filter adsorbs VOC’s (volatile organic compounds) noxious odors, chemicals, and gases. While the UV-C+ lamp eliminates airborne pathogens that enters its chamber.

Itchy throats, irritated eyes, and stuffy noses are all symptoms’ people face every day because of the allergens and dust in the air. Whether it be at home, work, or school you shouldn’t have to suffer with these symptoms because of poor indoor air quality. Installing air purifiers will help reduce the number of allergens and dust particles in the air, making it easier to breathe while sleeping, working, or just lounging around in the home.

There are many small particles travelling through our air at any given time. For example, mold can be a pesky issue to deal with, they are ‘seeds’ that is created from mold fungi which spreads through the air and creates mold spores (how mold grows and spreads on surfaces). Having an air purifier working to clean the space in question will help to reduce the amount of mold ‘seeds’ spreading.

Cleaning materials, cooking, older furniture all emit different smells that aren’t good for us to be breathing in constantly. Breathing in harmful smells and particles may not have an immediate effect on some but over a longer period it can lead to respiratory issues. An air purifier equipped with an activated carbon filter will work to adsorb the smell, so you don’t have to breathe it in.

Keeping our indoor air pollution should always be at a forefront of our minds. Keeping ourselves healthy now will help us stay healthy in the future.
